Organic farm Juré

The history of family farm dates back to 1920 when ancestors of Tomáš Vrána bought land on the Jura seclusion, builted the stables and started to farm the land. František Vrána senior and his wife Mary started farming in 1990 after returning land in restitution. Since 1994 the farm is in organic farming system. In 2008 Tomáš Vrána junior nad his wife Lenka Vránová took over the farm to follow in family tradition.

The area of farm is 61 hectares, of which 33 hectares are pasture, 20 hectares arable land (mainly naked oats, buckwheat), 8 hectares fruit orchards. Production is processed at the farm.

There is accommodation 2 and 4-bed apartments for turists, a restaurant for 60 persons, organic products farm shop. There is also a possibility to organize excursions for both children and adults, weddings, celebrations, company meetings, workshops, musical evenings, etc. It is possible to order the lamb meat, dried fruits (apples, plums, pears), jam, buckwheat, products from sheep's wool (blankets, quilts and pillows) and eggs.

Ekofarma Lukov

Family gardening, farming on five hectares, is focused on growing a wide range of herbs and vegetables (onions, garlic, dill, lettuce, radish, etc.). Mr. Košař sells vegetables at farmers' markets (April-November), traditionally in Zlín. From 2011 there are new farmer's markets in Valašské Meziříčí, Vsetín, Ostrava etc. Farm skop in open after prior telephone arrangement.

All vegetables are grown in outdoor beds without any (even permitted) plant protection products (even permitted). Biological methods of plant protection are used (houses for hedgehogs, lizards, anguis, bumblebees, etc.), natural fertilizers and preservatives.

Visitors with children will also find a stables with brown goat at the farm.

Son of Mr. Košař will continue in family tradition. He is currently occupied in planting traditional variety of fruit trees into the landscape.

Goat farm Lesní Jakubov

The family farm focused on goat's breeding and milk products procecessing – yogurt, cheese, kefir. Products can be ordered and picked up on a farm or in regular landfills in Brno. Orders can be also made by e-shop – equipment for cheese production, accessories for goat breeders and organic cosmetic. Last but not least, there is the possibility to exchange experiences during milk processing courses for potential candidates.

Goats are in pasture all the season, where they can choose from many types of herbs. All animals remain on the farm to enjoy well-deserved retirement. There is 24 goats on the farm and the family farms 5 hectares.
